There are currently four postgraduate course options in Geography at NUI Maynooth.

MSc in Climate Change

 Dry River, South Africa]This is a full-time one year course that aims to provide graduates with the knowledge, skills and experience necessary to enable them to undertake analysis of both global and Irish related climate change science, impacts and policies.

MSc in GIS and Remote Sensing

 Aerial Shot, NUIM South Campus]This full-time one-year course is aimed at graduates who will be trained in Geographical Information Systems, Remote Sensing, Digital Image Processing and Geophysical Techniques and will provide the skills required for careers in information technology based companies, Ordnance Survey, academia and state bodies.

MA in Society and Space

 Canary Wharf, London]This is a full-time one-year course that aims to provide graduates and policy makers with the knowledge, skills, and experience necessary to enable them to undertake analyses of social and spatial changes within modern western society. This course is taught jointly with the National Institute of Regional and Spatial Analysis (NIRSA) and the Department of Sociology.

Ph.D./M.Litt. by Major Thesis
