Éamonn has over twenty years’ experience in local and regional development where he has worked in a range of development initiatives in the community and local government sectors and with a range of EU-funded programmes. He currently works with Údarás na Gaeltachta, the Regional Development Authority which has responsibility for the economic, social and cultural development of the Gaeltacht regions of Ireland. He has served as Regional Manager (South) since 2002 and he also has management responsibility for the Education and Training Development Portfolio within the organisation.
He is a graduate of the NUI Galway (BA) and the University of Sheffield (M.Ed.).
