Biography:

Stephen received his Bachelor of Commerce International (German) from the University College Dublin (UCD) Quinn School of Business in 2004. He obtained a MA in European Studies from the UCD School of Politics and International Relations (SPIRe) in 2007. He wrote his MA thesis on the EU Emissions Trading Scheme (EU ETS). He also holds a postgraduate Diploma in Statistics from Trinity College Dublin (2008). Stephen worked as a policy analyst in Comhar Sustainable Development Council (SDC) from Nov 2007 to Sept 2008. Outside of research Stephen loves to go running, swimming and cycling.

Thesis

Title: Adapting to Climate Change in Ireland: An Economic Analysis
Supervisor: Professor John Sweeney

Description of Project:

Stephen's project aims to develop an understanding of the likely economic costs associated with climate impacts in Ireland in order to provide decision makers with the necessary information to develop the most appropriate combination of mitigation and adaptation measures.
