The Department of Geography has been offering a postgraduate degree in Geographical
Information Systems and Remote Sensing since 1996 and in that time, 200 students have
graduated. The course consists of 5 modules: Theoretical Concepts of Remote Sensing,
Introduction to Geographical Information Systems, Digital Image Processing & Advanced
Remote Sensing, Aspects of Geographical Information Science and Work Placement.
